MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
- It is the responsibility of HARPS to make the Health and safety policy available to their
employees, monitoring progress and supply safety training as required.
- Provision of safe place of work
- Provision of safe systems and condition(s) for work
- Provision of safe plant and equipment for work
EMPLOYEE’S RESPONSIBILITY
- To take reasonable care and ensure the safety of him/her and colleagues that may be
affected in course of execution of his work i.e. before, during and after work.
- To ensure that safety devices and personnel protective equipment are used before
commencing on any work.
- Not to interfere with any safety arrangement.
- To ensure he/she gains the required knowledge of the health and safety policy, and
implements this knowledge in performance of his/her works.
- Employee must follow instructions laid down by the Safety manager or other authorized
person. Employee must report any observed accidents, incidents or damage whether any
one's injured or not to the safety manager or any other competent officer for such.
